Thank you All for your love and Support

We would like to thank all of our dear friends and family members for coming out to participate in our first annual DAY AT THE BEACH FUNDRAISING GALA .  It was a perfect summer day that was filled with so much love and as always plenty of laughter.

We would also like to thank our friends and family that couldn’t attend but found it in their hearts to support our cause.

I know Richie is saying that this was more than “It’s All GOOD.”

It was amazing. Barbara, Matthew and I can’t thank you all enough for being their for us and supporting our cause to provide technology to disabled children in our Son’ Richie’s Name.

Our first Day AT THE BEACH GALA raised $4,195. This blew the goal of $3,000 out of the sky.

We hope you all enjoyed those amazing gift baskets that Barbara put together. Especially the day at the beach basket with the extra small surfboards….The people that weren’t at the GALA will have no idea what I am talking about…We will keep it our little secret and the next time you see someone with a surfboard I hope you think about that basket and have a good laugh. That is what I called creating memories with loved ones.

For all of you that you purchased or won a copy of my Warriors Of Life Book. I will let you know when it comes back from the printer and I will drop it off at your doorstep so I can sign it for you and we can get a picture together….Then if you want you can resell it on E-bay for $8,000 and donate half the proceeds back to Richie’s Foundation.

Once again. Thank you all for taking some time out of your day to spend the day with us at our home. Together we created memories that will last for a lifetime….And the best part is we can do it again next year..

Please stay tuned and like Richie’s foundation facebook page where we will be sharing the wonderful things we will be doing and the children we will be helping with the donations received for the gala.

All our love and Gratitude.

Help build a classroom for children with disabilities

Hello all,

We have been awesomely busy at the Richie Pryor Foundation helping children and adults with disabilities. While on our three month tour of Europe we were so privileged to be able to spend the day with the children and the staff at  Zespół Placówek Edukacyjno – Terapeutycznych w Bobrowie in Poland. This school provides education to children with disabilities. It is one of only a couple of schools in Poland that offers these wonderful services. Some children come from very away and can stay at the school during the week, so their parents don’t have to commute on a daily basis.

We were so impressed by the amount of love the staff had for the children and how much passion they had for their work. Barbara and I got to visit the various classes where the children learn everything from cooking to art. To be in the presence of these children and teachers was one of the most beautiful things we were so grateful for on our tour of Europe. We even got to enjoy a beautiful meal with the children and the staff.

Barbara and I were so touched by the work they are doing with these wonderful children. Therefore, we asked them what they needed help with. They were looking to provide their children with more dedicated one on one lessons. We were so proud to be able to donate funds to this school for them to setup several labs which will offer one on one teaching that will be equipped with a private classroom and a computer. They will be naming these labs in the name of Richie which we are so humbly grateful for. Richie would have really loved this. To have several classrooms named after him. Brings a tear to our eye ‘s and I know he is watching and is very proud. “You go mom and dad”.

Sometimes we don’t realize how blessed we all are that we are living in a county with such amazing opportunities. Living with GRATITUDE makes us all better people.
We are asking for some assistance to help them build at least 3 or more private classrooms for these private sessions. We would be so grateful if we could present them with another check from Richie’s foundation when we visit next year.

If you feel it in your heart, please support our cause. Click the link below to donate.

God Bless You.

Start the new year out by donating to a special school in need of technology

Hello and Happy New Year from the Richie Pryor Foundation.

We are currently trying to raise money for a special school in Poland that is dedicated to educating children with disabilities. Our nephew Piotrek, who has down syndrome and hemophiliac has been attending this school since he was a child. Barbara and I had an opportunity to visit the school about 10 years ago when we were visiting Poland. The faculty and the children filled our hearts with joy.

My wife and I had the pleasure of spending a day with Piotrek when we were in Poland a couple of weeks ago. We took a walk around the city and had a beautiful and fun-filled lunch together. Gratitude at it’s best.

We have known Piotrek since he was a couple of months old and we have had the privilege of watching him grow up over the years. He is now a fifteen-year teenager with all the curiosity and maturity that comes with it. He loves to sing and dance. His favorite food is pierogis with a Pepsi and for dessert a big ice cream (he doesn’t like the fruit, so Barbara and I enjoyed it). Because of his hemophiliac he receives 14 shots every other day, but you would never hear him complain. He is full of love, laughter and happiness. We are so grateful for every minute we are able to spend with him. The feeling of love that comes from him is miraculous.

During our lunch we had a very professional meeting about his school and what type of technology they have. He told us they have older computers that are used to help them with spelling, activities and learning. Barbara and I will be returning to Poland in February to meet with the school administrators to discuss their technology needs. We would love to be able to present this wonderful school with a donation to purchase a couple of new computers with touch screens to help these beautiful children learn.

Therefore, we are trying to raise $5,000 USD for this amazing school. Which would equal about 17,000 Zloty and go a long way to help these kids.

While attending a Tony Robbins event in West Palm Beach I had the privilege of joining 4,500 people from 81 different countries to donate almost 1 million dollars in a couple of hours to feed people all over the world. Therefore, I have an overwhelming sense of love and confidence that together we can all come together and raise $5,000 in a couple of weeks.

In hopes to generate more donations I will be offering the following incentives with the upcoming release of my book. Warriors of Life, Conquering Grief and Battling your Way Back to Happiness, which will be released in 2018.

  • With each donation over $50 dollars you will receive a downloadable copy of my book.
  • With each donation over $100 dollars you will receive a signed copy of my book as well as two tickets to the book launch gala (date to be determined).
  • Also, with each donation of $10 you will be entered a drawing in which Warriors of Life coaching will be giving away a 90 day look great naked health and wellness transformation program. Valued at $5,000.

One more added incentive: If we can reach our goal by January 25th, you can have a good laugh watching me jump into a very cold and famous lake in Europe to celebrate the achievement of our goal. You may also have the opportunity to see one of my dogs join me for a swim.

If you are interested in giving a little to help Piotrek and his school, please visit our donation site and in the comments please note that you wish the donation to be used for Piotrek’s School.

God bless all of you and your families. Hope you have a love and fun-filled 2018.
With all our love, Richie, Barbara, Matthew, Gizzie and Herbie Pryor

#GivingTuesday

Dear Friend,

Today is Giving Tuesday. A day to be grateful for what you have in life; and what a beautiful way to show your gratitude by helping others in need. This is the true meaning of the holidays.
So, if you can,  make a difference today and we hope you will choose The Richie Pryor Foundation.  Our mission is to provide assitive technologies to children and adults with disabilities.
Happy Holidays from all of us at The Richie Pryor Foundation.

 #GivingTuesday
Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. Since its’ inception in 2012, #GivingTuesday has become a movement that celebrates and supports giving and philanthropy with events throughout the year and a growing catalog of resources.

 What is #GivingTuesday

Created by the team at the Belfer Center for Innovation & Social Impact at the 92nd Street Y—a cultural center in New York City that, since 1874, has been bringing people together around the values of service and giving back—#GivingTuesday connects diverse groups of individuals, communities and organizations around the world for one common purpose: to celebrate and encourage giving. A team of influencers and founding partners joined forces, collaborating across sectors, offering expertise and working tirelessly, to launch #GivingTuesday and have continued to shape, grow and strengthen the movement.
